Death by Force

Shawnda Wood, a 32-year-old mother of three from Waldorf, Maryland, was tragically found dead in her home on December 9, 2022. The Charles County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check requested by her husband, Travis Edward Paschal Wood, who arrived at the sheriff's office and asked officers to check on his wife. Upon entering the residence on Tawny Drive, officers discovered Shawnda Wood deceased from gunshot wounds.
