Lonnie Wells, a 40-year-old police officer from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on March 25, 2007, while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Officer Wells, along with Corporal Marcus Stiles, arrived separately at the scene after a citizen reported a couple arguing at a laundry off U.S. Highway 17A.
