Shyheim Deangelo Kennedy, a 16-year-old from Chester, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on July 16, 2014. Shyheim was shot and killed during an altercation that took place just a block from the Chester Police Department. The incident occurred on Pinckney Street, where Shyheim was walking when he encountered Robert Isaiah Graham, then 17 years old. The confrontation escalated quickly, resulting in Graham shooting Shyheim.
