On the evening of August 29, 2015, in North Charleston, South Carolina, a fatal confrontation unfolded that would claim the life of 27-year-old Jean James Jacques. The incident occurred on Bramble Boulevard, where Jacques was positioned inside a van near a residential construction site. The situation escalated rapidly when another individual approached the vehicle, leading to gunfire that left Jacques dead from a gunshot wound.
