In the quiet town of Marion, South Carolina, the life of 58-year-old Liston Phillips was tragically cut short on January 24, 2016. Just after the stroke of midnight, the sound of gunshots pierced the night on Jones Avenue. A passerby, alarmed by the noise, discovered Phillips shot to death inside his car and immediately alerted the authorities.
