27-year-old Antonio Cortez Joiner died in a hail of gunfire April 25 during a private party at a Birmingham club. The shooting began at 2:50 a.m. inside East Birmingham Lounge on Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard and then spilled over to the outside. Police said more than three dozen shots were fired. Joiner was shot multiple times. He ran to nearby Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Station 8 for help.
