In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Belton, South Carolina, the life of 23-year-old Jalen Khallid Burton was tragically cut short. On March 12, 2016, a dispute erupted into violence at a bar near City Hall, leading to a shooting that would have fatal consequences for the young man.
