In a North Columbia motel room, the life of 25-year-old Tyron Donoven Jackson came to a tragic end on or around May 8, 2016. An employee of the Coronet Motel discovered his body, and it was later determined by the Richland County Coroner that he had died from a gunshot wound to the head. The discovery launched a suspicious death investigation by the Columbia Police Department.
