Tyron Donoven Jackson, a 25-year-old resident of Columbia, South Carolina, was found dead on May 8, 2016, in a motel room at the Coronet Motel on North Main Street. The Richland County Coroner, Garry Watts, confirmed that Jackson had been shot in the head. His body was discovered by a motel employee around 11 a.m. on that Sunday morning.
