Death by Force

On July 23, 2016, at approximately 2:00 a.m., North Charleston Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 6900 block of Kenwood Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Zia Fredericks, 27, from Ladson, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. Tragically, Fredericks was not breathing and had succumbed to his injuries before emergency services arrived.
