In the summer of 2016, a life was tragically cut short in North Charleston, South Carolina. Zia Arnell Fredericks, a 27-year-old male, was killed by gun violence on July 23, 2016. The incident left a community in mourning and a family grappling with a sudden and devastating loss. Another person was also injured in the shooting.
