Death by Force

Jermaine Williams, a 43-year-old resident of Sumter, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2021. He was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Jackson Street at Miller Road around 8:45 p.m. Despite being rushed to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries the following day. The Sumter County Coroner's Office confirmed his death and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
