An 18-year-old male, DeQuandre Rasheed Perry, was shot and killed in Sumter, South Carolina, on November 1, 2020. The shooting occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Utah Circle.

Perry was transported to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital after the incident, where he was pronounced dead. The Sumter County Coroner's Office identified Perry as the victim, and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
