Jaquaz Cooper, a resident of Florence, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 20, 2017, as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred while Cooper was sitting in a car on South Church Street in Florence. According to Major Michael Nunn of the Florence County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene to find Cooper and another man shot.
