In the summer of 2018, the life of 36-year-old Kevin Henicks, a male resident of Florence, South Carolina, was cut short in a fatal shooting. On the evening of June 28th, officers from the Florence Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Sopkin Avenue after reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Henicks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
