In the early morning hours of July 7, 2020, Timothy Shaw, a 56-year-old Black man, was tragically killed in a shooting on Cormac Court in the Tara Village community of Florence, South Carolina. Another individual was also injured in the incident, though their condition was not publicly disclosed.

According to the Florence County Sheriff's Office, the shooting claimed Mr. Shaw's life, and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. In ...
