In the quiet town of Clover, South Carolina, a grim discovery was made on a Wednesday in August of 2017. A friend of Jerry Proctor, a 44-year-old man, found him deceased inside his mobile home on Justin Drive. The authorities were immediately alerted, and upon their arrival, they encountered a scene that would soon unravel into a story of betrayal and violence. Inside the home with the victim was his roommate, Robert Cleveland Cribb Jr., who was 22 years old at the time.
