Death by Force

Henry Brown, a 71-year-old resident of North Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 14, 2017. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when Brown confronted three men attempting to steal his Jeep Compass SUV from his Park Gate Drive home. Brown, a retired Air Force veteran, fired warning shots into the air to deter the thieves. Unfortunately, one of the men, Leon Ginuwine Holmes, responded by shooting Brown, resulting in his immediate death.
