On a Friday evening in North Charleston, South Carolina, the life of 34-year-old Ladontes Miller was cut short in a sudden act of violence. On May 12, 2017, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Miller was in a parked van with a female companion when an unknown individual approached in another vehicle and fired a single shot, fatally wounding him.
