On his first night working as a security guard at the New Jack City club in North Charleston, South Carolina, Steven Daniel Holmes, a 28-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 1:15 AM on February 13, 2021. Holmes, who had taken the job to earn extra money, was on duty when he was struck by multiple gunshots.
