Shawn Lamar Rivers, aged 48, passed away on May 12, 2021, in North Charleston, South Carolina. His death was the result of a fatal shooting at a motel located at 7415 Northside Drive. On the night of the incident, officers responded to a call and found Rivers lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite immediate first aid efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
