Death by Force

On July 7, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., North Charleston police officers responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence on Waldheim Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Moises Diaz Morales inside the home, suffering from a single gunshot wound. Despite emergency medical efforts, Morales was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:57 a.m.
