On June 17, 2023, in front of a residence on Dorchester Manor Boulevard, the life of 21-year-old Thomas Anthony Carter was tragically cut short. Carter, a White male, was fatally shot in an act of violence that sent ripples of shock and grief through the community.
The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at approximately 4:15 p.m., where they discovered the young man's body and immediately began an investigation into the circumstances that led to his untimely death.
