Dominic Alton Midgett, aged 39, tragically lost his life on September 5, 2017, in Hartsville, South Carolina. His body was discovered in a house fire on Persimmons Drive in the Hartsville area of Darlington County. The investigation revealed that Midgett had been shot before the fire, indicating foul play. Authorities determined that the fire was set intentionally to cover up the murder.
