In the early morning hours of September 23, 2017, the life of John B. Rhodes, a 28-year-old Caucasian male from Elgin, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Rhodes was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Juniper Road in Elgin. The Kershaw County Coroner, David West, confirmed Rhodes' identity and the violent nature of his death.
