In the early morning hours, the quiet of a Greenville, South Carolina hotel parking lot was shattered by a fatal act of violence. Andre Lamar Allen, a 50-year-old man from Livonia, Michigan, was found shot to death, his life ending far from home. The Greenville County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Allen died from a gunshot wound to the chest and officially ruled his death a homicide.
