Kevin was a married man, leaving behind his wife, Sandi Landreth Bruster. He was a father to five children: three sons, Joshua Bruster, Jonathan Vance, and Michael Bruster, and two daughters, Elesia Alston and Victoria Bruster. His family also included two stepdaughters, Kaitlyn and Kourtney Fowler. He grew up in a large family and is survived by two brothers, Reggie and Keith Bruster, and two sisters, Patricia Bruster and Dee Stoddard.
