In the winter of 1995, amidst the scenic backdrop of Glide, Oregon, 52-year-old Phillip W. Bakeman vanished, leaving behind a life and a family. He was last seen on January 1st at his family's ranch in the Glide area of Douglas County. The day of his disappearance was marked by a verbal altercation he had at his brother-in-law's house, after which he left and was never heard from again.
