Chaz Blanding, a 19-year-old resident of Beaufort, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2017. His death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of his 25-year-old uncle, Robert Blanding. The two were found shot to death during an apparent robbery attempt on a secluded road on Lady’s Island. Chaz Blanding's body was discovered on December 2, 2017, in a wooded area off Simmons Road on St. Helena Island, after he had been reported missing by his family.
