In the quiet setting of Southlawn Cemetery on Whiskey Road in Aiken, South Carolina, a grim discovery was made. James D. Maxwell, a 61-year-old male who worked and lived on the cemetery grounds, was found deceased in his small living quarters at the rear of the office.
