In the early morning hours of October 20, 2018, in Columbia, South Carolina, a tragic event unfolded that would cut short the life of 25-year-old Jerrilynn Sigmon. A White female, Sigmon was at a residence on Norman Street when she suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Emergency services were called to the scene between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. and transported her to a local hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival at 6:39 a.m.
