On a late Thursday evening in Beckley, West Virginia, the life of Malique Shaquille Medley, a 30-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On April 20, 2023, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Medley was a passenger in a vehicle, accompanied by his wife and two children.
