In the spring of 2016, the life of 24-year-old Hanif Rimmel Russ was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of May 5th, Russ was found in the backyard of a home, having been shot multiple times. The grim discovery was made by a 13-year-old boy who resided at the house.
