In the quiet community of North Charleston, South Carolina, the life of 35-year-old Damon Tremaine Alston was abruptly cut short on Sunday, April 28, 2019. A resident of the city, Alston was known to his loved ones as a forklift driver and a father. His death, caused by a gunshot wound, has been the subject of an ongoing homicide investigation by the North Charleston Police Department.
