Jakevius Lamont Parker, a 22-year-old resident of Greenwood, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on March 3, 2020. According to reports, Parker was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on Pearl Street near the intersection of Spring Valley Road in Greenwood. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office confirmed that Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m., and the police were promptly called to the scene following reports of shots fired.
