In the quiet town of Barnwell, South Carolina, the afternoon of April 7, 2020, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 19-year-old Jeffrey B. Corley. A young man with his life ahead of him, Corley was found on Hiott Street with a gunshot wound. The discovery, made at approximately 1:15 p.m., marked the tragic end of a young life and the beginning of a complex investigation.
