In the quiet town of Barnwell, South Carolina, the life of 24-year-old Laventae Thomas was tragically cut short in a burst of violence. On the morning of Sunday, December 4, 2022, Thomas was shot and killed at his residence on Hiott Street, a lane nestled within a mobile home community. The male victim was discovered inside his home by law enforcement officers who responded to the scene.
