In the early morning hours of June 6, 2020, a dispute inside a residence on Meadow Street in Greenwood, South Carolina, escalated to a fatal conclusion. Brandon Moton, a 30-year-old male, was shot and killed during the altercation. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Moton's death was the result of the shooting.
