In the early morning hours of July 18, 2020, a tragedy unfolded in the parking lot of a Waffle House in North Charleston, South Carolina, claiming the life of a 23-year-old female employee, Briawna Nabors. An innocent bystander, Nabors was fatally struck by a stray bullet during a shootout that erupted from a dispute in which she had no involvement.
