In the quiet evening of August 6, 2020, the life of a bright-eyed 5-year-old girl, Italia Lomelli-Graham, was tragically cut short in her Summerville, South Carolina, home. A bullet, fired from outside, penetrated the brick wall of her family's residence on Langley Drive and struck the young girl as she played in the hallway. First responders arrived to a frantic scene and rushed Italia to a nearby hospital, but her injuries proved to be fatal.
