In a Rock Hill, South Carolina hotel room, the lives of a married couple from Wisconsin came to a tragic end. Sixty-year-old Terry Carlton Heraly and his 51-year-old wife, Connie Heraly, were discovered deceased from gunshot wounds at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on Springdale Road.
Law enforcement responded to the scene just before noon on a Tuesday after being called for a death investigation. Inside the hotel room, they found both Terry and Connie Heraly.
Investigators from the Rock Hill Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Services Unit immediately began to piece together the events that led to the couple's demise.
While the investigation is ongoing pending autopsy and toxicology results, authorities have stated that they are not searching for any suspects in connection with the shootings. Multiple weapons were recovered from the hotel room, and police have indicated that no other individuals were involved. The sequence of events that culminated in the fatal shootings remains under investigation.
