In the early spring of 2021, the community of Loris, South Carolina, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 41-year-old Jerome D. Bellamy. A male resident of the small city, Bellamy was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred on March 6th. The incident, which unfolded on Maple Street, not only ended Bellamy's life but also resulted in injuries to two other individuals, casting a somber shadow over the neighborhood.
