Barbara Wood Smith Lesslie, aged 69, tragically lost her life on April 7, 2021, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was a victim of a mass shooting that also claimed the lives of her husband, Dr. Robert Lesslie, their two grandchildren, Adah Lesslie (9) and Noah Lesslie (5), and James Lewis, a man working at their home. The incident occurred at the Lesslie family residence, where the shooter, Phillip Adams, a former NFL player, opened fire.
