In the early morning hours of April 11, 2021, the life of 26-year-old Joshua Reed Paige was cut short in Beaufort, South Carolina. Police responded to reports of gunfire on Southside Boulevard shortly after 6 a.m. and discovered Paige's body outside a residence. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:30 a.m.
