On August 14, 2024, 33-year-old Marquise Tyrell Green was fatally shot at the Cross Creek Apartments in Beaufort, South Carolina. Responding to reports of gunfire around 10 p.m., Beaufort Police officers found Green suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
