In the late evening of Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the life of 33-year-old Marquise Tyrell Green, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire at the Cross Creek Apartments in Beaufort, South Carolina. Authorities believe a verbal altercation that began at another location escalated, culminating in the fatal shooting.
