In the early afternoon of June 14, 2021, the life of 18-year-old Trevon Davion Wilson, a Black male from Florence, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Around 1:11 p.m., in the vicinity of Keith Circle and Oliver Drive in Florence County, Wilson was the victim of a fatal shooting. When deputies from the Florence County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene, they discovered Wilson deceased.
The authorities immediately classified his death as a homicide and began an intensive investigation into the events that led to the young man's untimely demise.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, investigators began searching for a silver Hyundai that was believed to have a connection to the homicide. While this unrelated arrest brought a measure of resolution to an older case, the investigation into who is responsible for the death of the young Trevon Davion Wilson continues, with law enforcement still seeking the information needed to bring his killer to justice.
