Willie Roberts, aged 33, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2021, in Yemassee, South Carolina. The incident occurred during a large social gathering near the Sappy Food convenience store and gas station, close to the town's annual Shrimp Festival. A fight broke out among attendees, escalating into a mass shooting that left Roberts dead and seven others injured, including five juveniles.
