Stevenson Lemont Bailey, affectionately known as "Steve" or "Smiley," was born on October 21, 1973, in Florence, South Carolina. He tragically passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 47. Bailey's death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred at his residence on McMillian Lane in Florence County. According to the coroner, Keith von Lutcken, the shooting took place around 5:20 p.m. on that Monday. Bailey was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
