Stefan Mrgan, a 36-year-old employee at Coastal Firearms in Charleston, South Carolina, tragically died on November 2, 2021, due to an accidental shooting. The incident occurred when Jon Whitley, the owner of the gun store, mistakenly shot Mrgan in the lower face, believing he was handling a BB gun instead of a real handgun.
