Lamar Douglas Jones, a 37-year-old resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina, was found dead on November 13, 2021, under tragic and violent circumstances. His body was discovered in the backseat of a burning Ford sedan on Blanchard Road. Initially, responders were called to the scene for what appeared to be a car crash, but upon further investigation, it was determined that Jones' injuries were not consistent with a car accident.
