In the late hours of a Monday in Columbia, South Carolina, the life of 23-year-old Corey Demetrius Andrews was tragically cut short. On November 15, 2021, gunshots rang out in the 2200 block of Kennedy Street, a residential area in the Rosewood neighborhood. When Columbia Police Department officers arrived at the scene after 11 p.m., they discovered two male victims of the shooting. One of them, Corey D. Andrews, was pronounced dead at the scene.
