In the early morning hours of December 13, 2021, the life of 28-year-old Erron Javier-Javan Johnson, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a shooting that erupted inside Player's Place Billiards and Sports Bar on Ashley River Road in North Charleston, South Carolina. The incident, which occurred around 2:09 a.m., resulted in multiple injuries. Johnson was rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina, but he was pronounced dead at 2:57 a.m.
